Before the credit crisis, Richard Bowen tried to warn his employer, Citigroup of serious problems inside the bank. Mr. Bowen was fired and then pressured not to tell what he knew to regulators. Moreover, Citi pressured regulators not to accept Mr. Bowen's full accounting. Mr. Bowen is a hero.
